A Photographic Society inspired by Ansel Adams
Himalayan Camera Club (HCC) is a FIP recognized photography organization which strives to deal with the creative, documentary and aesthetic aspect of photography.
The main aim of HCC is to promote photography among people who have a creative disposition and to help finding a parallel way of living other than that of living life as treading on the trodden path.
Inspiration
A huge respect and honour for the Photo-Artist Benu Sen
Treading on the stones laid down by the maestro, Benu Sen, we, the members of Himalayan Camera Club have been striving hard since 2009. The path has not been smooth enough with bits and pieces of failures as organization and as photo-artists, but still, we are on the go with a vision to practice, follow, explore and experiment.

Our Salons
Since inception in 2009 Himalayan Camera Club has organised four National Salons. The first one was a circuit in 2010. Three others were salons in 2011, 2023 and 2024.
